Simulator Center Training is a professional pilot training provider delivering type ratings, ATP-CTP certification, hourly and recurrent simulator training, and FAA license conversion from our Miami Springs, Florida hub. Every program is built for licensed pilots moving toward airline, cargo, or corporate flight decks, and is delivered in full-motion simulation with airline-experienced instructors.

Licensed commercial and airline pilots — holders of a CPL or ATPL, whether FAA-issued or from an ICAO, EASA, or DGCA authority. Our students are typically preparing for an airline assessment, adding an aircraft type, maintaining currency, or converting a foreign license to FAA certification. Programs are not designed for beginner students.

No. We do not offer PPL, CPL, or ab-initio flight training. Every program we run is post-license and airline-focused: you arrive holding a commercial or airline transport license and leave with an added rating, certification, or currency.

Six aircraft across both our type rating and simulator training silos: the Airbus A320 and A330, the ATR 42/72, the Boeing 737 (NG/MAX), the Boeing 737 Classic (300/400/500), and the Boeing 757/767. Each aircraft has its own type rating page and its own hourly/recurrent simulator training page.

A type rating is the aircraft-specific qualification added to your pilot certificate that authorizes you to act as a crew member on that aircraft type. It covers systems, procedures, normal and non-normal operations, and culminates in a checkride flown to FAA practical test standards in a full-motion simulator.

Yes. Instruction is delivered by airline-experienced instructors and check airmen, procedures follow airline standard operating practice, and every session is flown as a crew. The objective is not just a rating on your certificate — it is arriving at an airline assessment already operating to the standard the operator expects.

28 to 35 days for the A320, A330, ATR 42/72, Boeing 737, and Boeing 737 Classic. The combined Boeing 757/767 rating runs 35 to 40 days because it qualifies you on two aircraft in one program.

Yes. Full-motion simulator sessions are integral to every type rating: ground instruction builds systems knowledge, then fixed-base and full-flight sessions build procedural fluency through to the checkride. Our separate simulator training silo is a different product — hourly and recurrent access for pilots who already hold the rating.

All three end at FAA certification, but the issuing authority changes the verification process and, in some cases, the exam requirements. The ICAO pathway is the general route for pilots licensed by any ICAO member state. The EASA pathway operates under the FAA-EASA bilateral licensing framework. The DGCA pathway is specific to India-licensed pilots and carries its own verification steps.

In most cases yes — FAA knowledge tests are required for the certificate level you are converting to, and foreign exam credits generally do not transfer directly. Which exams apply depends on your pathway and target certificate; ATP candidates sit the ATP knowledge test. Your conversion assessment maps out exactly which apply before you commit to a schedule.

Yes, and for most pilots it is the efficient route. A type rating is added to the certificate being issued, so combining the conversion practical test with an aircraft type rating means one checkride serves both objectives. The combined plan is mapped out at your initial assessment.
