The Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP) serves as the definitive mandatory requirement for any candidate seeking an FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate with a multi-engine class rating. Our curriculum is professionally engineered to bridge the gap between commercial flight training and the sophisticated complexities of Part 121 and Part 135 air carrier operations. By integrating advanced theoretical academics with high-fidelity simulation, we prepare you for the safe and efficient management of large-scale commercial aircraft within a collaborative, multi-crew environment.

Learn the science of how big jets fly at 30,000 feet and above. You will practice how to stay in control and recover safely if the plane stalls in the thin air of high altitudes.

Using Advanced Cockpit Technology
Get comfortable with the "brains" of the plane. We teach you how to use autopilot and computer systems to manage your speed and energy so you are always in total control of the flight.

Tracking Bad Weather
Learn how to use high-tech radar and detection systems to find and avoid dangerous weather. You will practice the best ways to fly safely through wind, ice, and storms.

Teamwork & Leadership (CRM)
In a big jet, you aren't flying alone. We teach you Crew Resource Management (CRM), which is the art of communicating clearly and working perfectly with your co-pilot to keep every flight safe.
At Simulator Center LLC, we don’t just give you a certificate. We give you the best technology and the best mentors so you feel totally confident when you step into an airline interview.
Total Program Duration:
6–8 Days
Total Training Hours:
42 Total Hours
This FAA-approved program follows a structured training pathway designed to prepare professional pilots for the ATP Multi-Engine Knowledge Test. The course focuses on high-altitude safety, advanced jet systems, and airline-level teamwork to ensure you are ready for the big leagues.
Duration: 32 Hours
Format: Classroom Instruction + Expert Mentorship The program starts with 32 hours of intensive classroom learning. We don’t just teach you the rules; we teach you how to think like an airline captain. This phase covers the advanced science and safety habits needed to fly large passenger jets.
This Phase Includes:
Outcome: You finish the ground phase with a deep understanding of jet operations and are fully prepared for the simulator phase.
Training Device: Level D Full-Motion Simulator & Fixed-Base Trainers
Duration: 10 Hours
Focus: Hands-on experience in a jet environment. The flight phase puts your classroom knowledge into action. You will spend 10 hours in advanced simulators that replicate the feel and weight of a real airliner. This is where you practice the maneuvers and teamwork skills required for the ATP certificate.
This Phase Includes:
Outcome: You demonstrate the hands-on skills and cockpit discipline required to operate a transport-category aircraft safely.
Focus: Final Certification Once you complete your classroom and simulator hours, we provide your official ATP-CTP Graduation Certificate. This is the “golden ticket” that allows you to take the FAA ATP Multi-Engine Knowledge Test.
This Phase Includes:
Outcome: You depart our facility as a graduate, fully eligible to complete the FAA written exam and advance your airline career.\
We value your time. Our schedule is designed to be fast and efficient while still meeting every FAA safety standard.
Training Flow
A clear, 3-step pathway to get you from your current license to ATP Knowledge Test eligibility.
Focus: 32 hours of advanced jet knowledge and safety rules.
Outcome: A strong mental foundation of how airlines operate.
Focus: 10 hours of hands-on practice in high-tech flight simulators.
Outcome: Real-world experience managing a jet and a crew.
Focus: Receiving your certificate and prepping for the FAA written test.
Outcome: Immediate eligibility for the FAA ATP Multi-Engine Knowledge Test.
To enroll in the FAA ATP-CTP program, candidates must meet specific eligibility rules. These requirements ensure you have the flight experience and medical fitness needed to handle the advanced training in our high-speed simulators.
Valid Professional Pilot License
You must hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine (ME) and Instrument (IR) ratings. This ensures you have the basic flying skills required before moving up to transport-category jets.
Medical Certification
We recommend holding a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Medical Certificate. While you are in training, you must be physically fit to operate in a high-fidelity simulator environment that mimics real-world flight conditions.
English Language Proficiency
Identification & Regulatory Paperwork
As this is an FAA-approved course, you must provide valid government-issued identification (such as a Passport) and complete the necessary TSA or regulatory background checks before your first day of class.
