The Airbus A330 Type Rating program is designed for professional pilots seeking an initial A330 qualification through airline-standard, globally aligned training. By combining comprehensive systems ground school with advanced Level D full-motion simulation, this program develops the systems mastery, automation control, and procedural precision required for modern long-haul flight decks.
Our curriculum reflects internationally recognized airline training methodologies and prepares pilots targeting wide-body operations across U.S., European, Middle Eastern, and global carriers.
What This Program Includes:
Dedicated A330 Type Rating Check Ride preparation
Program Duration & High-Fidelity Training Hours:
Check Ride / Qualification Preparation: Included
Training Outcome
Upon successful completion, pilots will have:
The Airbus A330 Type Rating program is structured to transition pilots into long-haul, wide-body airline environments with confidence and technical authority. The curriculum extends beyond certification to focus on the performance standards expected by major global carriers.

Develop proficiency in managing high-altitude cruise operations, ETOPS considerations (if applicable), long-range fuel planning awareness, and complex system integration across all phases of flight.

Global SOP & Advanced CRM Discipline
Strengthen airline-grade Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills aligned with international airline standards. Multi-crew coordination (MCC) is emphasized throughout every simulator session.

Advanced Automation & Flight Management Mastery
Gain deep operational understanding of the A330’s sophisticated automation systems, flight envelope protections, and Flight Management & Guidance System (FMGS). Emphasis is placed on energy management, automation monitoring, and flight mode awareness.

Complex Systems & Abnormal Management
Prepare to manage system failures, hydraulic and electrical contingencies, engine malfunctions, pressurization issues, and high-altitude decision-making scenarios within structured airline procedures.
Simulator Center LLC delivers a training ecosystem built around advanced simulation, disciplined instruction, and real-world airline operational methodology. The A330 Type Rating program ensures technical depth and operational fluency in wide-body aircraft management.
