Our Story

Simulator Center Training is based in Miami Springs, Florida, a hub for airline and cargo operations across the Americas. We built our training center around a simple idea: pilots moving into a new aircraft type, or into the airlines for the first time, need focused, full-flight simulator practice alongside solid ground instruction — not a watered-down version of either.

Our courses are structured around the way airlines actually train: structured ground school, briefings, full-flight simulator sessions, and debriefs that mirror the checkride environment pilots will face. That approach applies whether a pilot is completing the ATP Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP), earning a type rating, or converting a foreign license to FAA standards.

Our Facility & Simulators

Our Miami Springs facility houses full-flight simulator training for a broad fleet of transport-category aircraft, including the Airbus A320 and A330, the ATR 42/72, the Boeing 737 NG/MAX and 737 Classic, and the Boeing 757/767. That range lets us support pilots headed to regional, legacy, and cargo carriers without sending them to a different vendor for each aircraft.

Ground school classrooms, simulator bays, and briefing rooms are arranged so students move through the same sequence — classroom instruction, simulator session, debrief — that airline training departments use. Instructors work session by session with each class, rather than handing pilots off between unrelated vendors.

Approvals & Standards

Our type rating and ATP-CTP courses are built to FAA training requirements: the ATP-CTP is a 6 to 8 day, 42-hour program combining 32 hours of ground instruction with 10 hours of full-flight simulator time, and our type rating courses run 28 to 35 days for a single aircraft (35 to 40 days for combined B757/767 training), consistent with FAA type rating training standards.

Instructors bring airline and simulator training backgrounds to every course, and curriculum is reviewed against current FAA requirements so pilots arrive at their checkride or new-hire class prepared for what evaluators actually expect.
