This FAA-aligned Boeing 757 license conversion program is designed for pilots who already hold a valid B757 type rating (often encompassing the B757/767 commonality) under DGCA, EASA, or another ICAO authority and require FAA recognition.
Rather than retraining from the beginning, this program focuses on Boeing-specific FAA regulatory alignment, MCP (Mode Control Panel) operations, and FAA operational readiness.
What This Conversion Program Includes

Demonstrate proficiency in Boeing 757 operations under FAA regulatory standards.

FAA SOP & Procedural Alignment
Bridge differences between EASA/DGCA and FAA Boeing procedures, including "Silent Checklists" vs. "Challenge-Response" nuances.

FAA-Style Simulator Evaluation
Perform V1 cuts, steep turns, and non-precision approaches using FAA-style profiles.

International Operational Eligibility
Position yourself for global cargo or passenger opportunities under FAA recognition.
Designed specifically for already type-rated pilots, the Boeing 757 FAA license conversion program focuses on regulatory alignment, operational validation, and FAA check ride readiness—not initial aircraft training. Every component is structured to meet FAA expectations while respecting your prior experience on the B757/767 platform.
Total Program Duration:
28–33 days
Total Training Hours:
95–105 total hours
This FAA-aligned conversion program follows a structured validation pathway designed specifically for pilots who already hold a Boeing 757 (or B757/767 common) type rating. The course emphasizes regulatory alignment, operational evaluation, and FAA check ride readiness rather than basic aircraft systems.
Duration: Approx. 60–70 Hours Format: Classroom Instruction + Computer-Based Training (CBT)
The program begins with a focused FAA-oriented theory review designed to identify, clarify, and bridge regulatory and procedural differences between your existing license authority (DGCA, EASA, or ICAO) and FAA operational standards.
This Phase Includes:
Outcome: You complete the ground phase with a clear understanding of FAA procedures and expectations, fully prepared for simulator evaluation.
Aircraft: Boeing 757 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Focus: Operational validation, not retraining
Simulator sessions are conducted in a professional airline-style environment and are designed to mirror FAA evaluation profiles. This phase validates your ability to operate the B757 in accordance with FAA procedures and examiner expectations.
This Phase Includes:
Outcome: You demonstrate operational proficiency and cockpit discipline aligned with FAA airline standards under realistic flight conditions.
Focus: Examiner-Style Readiness
This phase ensures you are fully prepared for the FAA check ride through structured evaluations and final procedural refinement. Training mirrors the exact flow and standards used by FAA-designated examiners.
This Phase Includes:
Outcome: You complete the program confident, prepared, and fully aligned with FAA examiner expectations.
Most pilots complete the Boeing 757 FAA License Conversion program within the following timeframe:
Actual timelines may vary based on individual pilot readiness, scheduling availability, and evaluation progression. The program structure allows flexibility while maintaining strict FAA compliance.
Training Flow
A clear, structured pathway designed to guide already type-rated Boeing 757 pilots from FAA alignment to check ride readiness with confidence.
Focus: FAA alignment & procedural validation
What happens in this phase:
Outcome: A strong FAA-aligned theoretical foundation and FMC proficiency before entering the simulator.
Focus: Operational validation
What happens in this phase:
Outcome: Demonstrated operational proficiency and Boeing cockpit discipline aligned with FAA airline standards.
Focus: Examiner-style preparation
What happens in this phase:
Outcome: Total confidence and technical readiness to meet FAA examiner expectations and secure your conversion.
This Boeing 757 FAA License Conversion program is intended for already type-rated pilots seeking FAA recognition through validation and operational alignment—not initial training. All training is conducted at our specialized Simulator Center, utilizing advanced FFS technology and professional airline infrastructure.
Existing Boeing 757 Type Rating
You must already hold a valid Boeing 757 (or B757/767 common) type rating issued by DGCA, EASA, or another ICAO-recognized authority.
Valid Pilot License (CPL or ATPL)
Applicants must hold one of the following:
Multi-Engine & Instrument Ratings
Medical Certification
A valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate is required for the final check ride and commercial operations. Pilots may begin the ground phase with a valid ICAO Class 1, but must secure FAA certification for the practical test.
English Language Proficiency
Minimum ICAO English Level 4 or higher. Pilots must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language as required for FAA radio communication and operational safety.
MCC & UPRT (If Applicable)
Many pilots already have these, but if not:
These can be completed before starting the Type Rating, or we can help arrange them.
(Note: For EASA pilots, MCC is mandatory before Type Rating; for DGCA/FAA, recommended.)
